My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Runaway for a Northumberland getaway, and to say it exceeded our high expectations would be an understatement. First and foremost, the places to eat nearby were absolutely fantastic - we indulged in delicious local cuisine that left us wanting more. the terrace was a delightful spot to unwind with a glass of wine and take in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. the attention to detail in the design of the hut was impeccable, with every comfort and convenience thoughtfully provided. the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay, from the warm welcome tray waiting for us upon arrival to their genuine hospitality throughout our time there. the peaceful ambiance of the location combined with the exciting atmosphere of the airfield made for a truly unique experience. We even had the opportunity to take a flight over Northumberland with Paul, which was a birthday treat I will never forget. Overall, Runaway exceeded all our expectations and provided us with a mini break that was nothing short of perfect. the friendly hosts, incredible amenities, and picturesque surroundings made it a stay we will cherish for years to come.
